What placeholder text is useful for
Dummy text lets you inspect line length, paragraph spacing and the balance between text and images before the final copy arrives. It is helpful for early design drafts, but cannot test whether the actual message is clear. A short English paragraph and a long Urdu paragraph can occupy different space even when the word counts are similar.
Check the layout with realistic content
Match the approximate length of the expected headline and body copy. Try a longer paragraph to see whether the design breaks when a client adds another sentence. For Urdu projects, test a real sample in the chosen Urdu font as well; Latin placeholder text cannot reveal right-to-left alignment, ligatures or line-height problems.
Remove placeholder copy before launch
Search your final document for Lorem and ipsum, inspect small captions and repeated components, and check mobile layouts again after inserting actual content. Do not publish a service page with filler text simply because it fits neatly. Placeholder paragraphs are not useful SEO content and should not be used to pad a live article.
