Convert digits inside mixed text
Paste your text, select the target digit style and choose Convert. Copy the result into your document after checking it. Letters, punctuation and line breaks are preserved. The converter changes individual digit characters rather than treating your input as one mathematical number.
Supported digit sets
English 0123456789, Urdu/Persian Unicode digits ۰۱۲۳۴۵۶۷۸۹ and Arabic-Indic digits ٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩ are supported. Urdu and Persian digits share this Unicode range; their appearance can vary with the font. Select English to normalize either Arabic-script digit set to 0–9.
Example conversion
The text سال ۲۰۲۶ becomes سال 2026 when English is selected. The string 00123 becomes ۰۰۱۲۳ when Urdu is selected, keeping its leading zeros. A dash, slash, comma or decimal separator remains the same character. This is useful for dates, captions and document formatting.
Digits are not number words
This tool does not translate 25 into twenty-five or پچیس, infer a currency, change date order, calculate a value or validate a phone number. Review mixed right-to-left and left-to-right text in the destination application because punctuation placement depends on that application’s layout.
Frequently asked questions
Does it translate Urdu sentences?
No. It changes digits only.
Are leading zeros preserved?
Yes. Input is processed as text, so leading zeros remain.
Does the tool upload my text?
The conversion code runs in your browser and does not send the entered text to a processing API.
